General Information: | |
The SUPREME 600 Watt power supply is for new, OEM, PC, server assemblies, Mini Servers, and rackmount servers. It supports both 20-pin or 24-pin ATX v.2.2 and EPS-12V Xeon motherboards. It also includes two PCI Express 6-pin connectors, which can supply power to two advanced graphics cards running in SLI or Crossfire configurations. This power supply supports Intel® Core i7 platform systems Multiple Support Function Supporting ATX V2.2, EPS-12V Xeon, and i7 motherboards it also includes 4x PCI-E 6-pin connectors for advanced graphics cards running in quad SLI or Crossfire configuration. This PSU can be used for mini-servers, server assemblies, rackmount servers, and desktops. Dual Fan With its dual fan features located at the front and back of the power supply, the rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan. This design allows the power supply to be able to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and pushes it out of the server/system. While some other PSU fans work differently, this dual fan design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power and keeping the system cool. Some may second guess this dual fan feature because it will increase noise volumes, but with its thermal fan speed control it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer and spin accordingly. Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller Thermal fan speed control it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer. Using this controller to detect the heat levels, it will automatically adjust the fan speed accordingly and the need to worry about the heat levels, of a PSU, becomes almost non-existent. Silence is Golden Athena Computer Power's designers have designed a low ripple and noise feature that is included within the PSU, taking customer's needs into consideration for whatever they may be using this PS2 PSU for, the electrical ripple and noise has been significantly reduced for a more quiet system. | |

Learn more about Power Supplies
Power Supply
A power supply is simply something designed to supply power to a device. Typically this is where you plug into your computer. For notebooks however, power supplies have a different form factor and they are known as power bricks, or AC Adapters. Please consider the Amperage, voltage and output power before you purchase.A computer power supply, also known as a PSU (power supply unit), is a device that provides power to a computer. It converts the alternating current (AC) power from the electrical outlet into direct current (DC) power that can be used by the computer's components. Here's how to use a computer power supply and what to look for when buying one from CompSource:
Connect the power supply to the electrical outlet: First, plug the power supply's AC cord into an electrical outlet. This will provide power to the power supply.
Connect the power supply to the computer: Most power supplies have a number of connectors that can be used to connect the power supply to the computer's components. These connectors include a main motherboard connector, a processor power connector, and connectors for other components such as the graphics card and hard drive. Refer to your computer's manual or the documentation that came with the power supply to determine which connectors to use.
Turn on the computer: Once you have connected the power supply to the computer and the electrical outlet, you can turn on the computer by pressing the power button.
When purchasing a computer power supply from CompSource, there are a few things to consider:
Compatibility: Make sure the power supply is compatible with your computer's components. This includes ensuring that it has the correct connectors and that it can provide enough power to meet the needs of your system.
Efficiency: Look for a power supply that is rated for high efficiency, as this can help reduce energy consumption and lower your energy bills.
Quality: Purchase a power supply from a reputable manufacturer to ensure that you are getting a high-quality, reliable product.
Warranty: Consider purchasing a power supply that comes with a warranty, as this can provide peace of mind and protect your investment in the event of any issues.
Overall, a computer power supply is an essential component of any computer system and is used to provide power to the computer's components. Purchasing a high-quality, reliable power supply from a reputable retailer like CompSource can help ensure that your computer has a stable and consistent source of power.
