55" Ultra High Brightness 3,500 nits Outdoor LCD - DO552LR4 The DO552LR4 is IP66 rated for protection from water and dust, features an IK10 vandal resistant tempered glass surface, and rugged all metal rust proof construction. The display may be operated in both portrait and landscape orientations and utilizes quarter-wave plate technology to allow for viewing with polarized sunglasses. Product Highlights 3500 nit Brightness, IP66 Weather Resistance, IK10 Vandal Resistance, High Brightness LED Backlight, 1920 x 1080 Resolution, Built-in Android Media Player Color Temperature and Quality Ensuring the color and brightness of each screen in a tiled matrix matches can be time-consuming and requires additional calibration hardware. Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 (6500K) CIE color standard. Not only does this produce a true, natural white, the color of all screens will be uniform. Auto Brightness Control Different external lighting conditions require different brightness levels. An onboard light sensor measures the ambient light in the area and automatically adjusts the image accordingly. Intelligent Thermal Management Heat generated by the display is radiated away from high-temperature areas while a sensor continuously monitors the internal temperature to protect the system from overheating. This is accomplished with ultra-quiet fans. LED Backlit with Local Dimming The display features a local dimming LED backlight technique for a remarkably high contrast picture. With direct local dimming, darker areas of an image receive less backlighting than lighter areas, as opposed to edge-lit LED backlights which illuminate an entire screen at all times causing blacks and dark areas to appear washed out. | |

Learn more about Digital Signage Systems
Digital signage is a form of signs that use technologies such as LCD, LED and projection to display content such as digital images, video, streaming media and any type of useful information.
Digital Signage can be found in public places, transportation locations, sport stadiums, retail stores, restaurants and office buildings etc.
A digital signage display can be in any screen size displaying any type of content for any reason. Marketing is a huge industry that really utilizes the digital signage displays. They can be used indoor and even outdoor for that purpose.
Some of the questions you may want to think about before purchasing these displays is:
- How many screens will you be needing?
- What size screen will suite the use that is intended for the display?
- How any hours/days/weeks etc. will these units be on?
- (This is a big one because you do not want your display burning out and ruining your signage display)
- Will you have several Signs integrated together, some Signage companies do this better than others!
- If you do have several Signs consider brands that allow you to update them from one central computer.
More about TV's
Smart TV, LED, OLED. 4K . HDR. The world of TVs is looking better every day, but also more confusing. Today, there's a wide array of high-definition (HD) and 4K Ultra HD sets to choose from, from bargain big screens to high-end displays that can cost as much as a car.
Quick Tips
If you're in a hurry, here are the most important things to consider before you buy a television. We explain each of these points in greater detail in the text below:
- Don't buy a TV with less than 4K resolution if you want a future-proof set.
- Expect to pay about $500 for a solid 50- to 55-inch bargain 4K TV and at least $900 for a 65-inch model.
- Look for an HDR-compatible set , which offers more realistic colors and better contrast.
- OLED TVs look much better than a typical LED LCD, but they are considerably more expensive.
- Ignore contrast-ratio specs: manufacturers fudge the numbers. Trust your own eyes.
- Look for at least four HDMI ports; 4K shoppers should ask about HDCP compatibility.
- Curved TVs are a fashion statement. They don't benefit image quality.
- Most TVs are "smart TVs" these days with easy access to Netflix and other online apps. Don't be tricked into thinking this is a big deal.
- Consider purchasing a soundbar. TV speakers are worse nowadays because the screens are thinner.
