General Information: | |
The iCompel player supports up to 1, 4, or 15 zones for text, images, and HTML, and features built-in Wired and Wireless connectivity. Easy to set up, use, and integrate To get started, you simply connect the iCompel unit to your network and to a display. After booting up, the iCompel unit automatically obtains an IP address from the network. Fixed IP addresses can also be set. iCompel is also easy to use, giving you the flexibility to create attention-getting digital signage without a lot of creative or technical know-how. Even better, iCompel is easy to integrate; it won't cause IT and security headaches when added to your network. Online content management Install an iCompel Subscriber on your network and manage it via a Web browser. One iCompel Publisher can send media over the network to an iCompel Subscriber - even on the other side of the world. Scalable Scaling your iCompel system from a standalone installation to a multichannel network with many screens is a matter of simply adding more iCompel units to your IT network configuration. Drag-and-drop editing Begin by dragging and dropping media from your computer desktop or a folder to the iCompel media folders on the publisher appliance's hard disk or use its intuitive interface to browse for files. Multiple content channels The subscribers pull content from a publisher according to a preset schedule. This way, you can deliver a high-impact display at the right time in the right place, whether it's stored media, such as promotional ads, or Web media, including XML and RSS feeds. Security A built-in firewall keeps access limited to authorized users only, and there's no need to install any third-party software or virus protection. iCompel uses HTTP and HTTPS security protocols and supports the LDAP authentication protocol and VPN capabilities for secure remote access. Straightforward layouts The software included on the publisher unit enables you to set up screen layouts containing zones for display. | |

Learn more about Digital Signage Systems
Digital signage is a form of signs that use technologies such as LCD, LED and projection to display content such as digital images, video, streaming media and any type of useful information.
Digital Signage can be found in public places, transportation locations, sport stadiums, retail stores, restaurants and office buildings etc.
A digital signage display can be in any screen size displaying any type of content for any reason. Marketing is a huge industry that really utilizes the digital signage displays. They can be used indoor and even outdoor for that purpose.
Some of the questions you may want to think about before purchasing these displays is:
- How many screens will you be needing?
- What size screen will suite the use that is intended for the display?
- How any hours/days/weeks etc. will these units be on?
- (This is a big one because you do not want your display burning out and ruining your signage display)
- Will you have several Signs integrated together, some Signage companies do this better than others!
- If you do have several Signs consider brands that allow you to update them from one central computer.
More about TV's
Smart TV, LED, OLED. 4K . HDR. The world of TVs is looking better every day, but also more confusing. Today, there's a wide array of high-definition (HD) and 4K Ultra HD sets to choose from, from bargain big screens to high-end displays that can cost as much as a car.
Quick Tips
If you're in a hurry, here are the most important things to consider before you buy a television. We explain each of these points in greater detail in the text below:
- Don't buy a TV with less than 4K resolution if you want a future-proof set.
- Expect to pay about $500 for a solid 50- to 55-inch bargain 4K TV and at least $900 for a 65-inch model.
- Look for an HDR-compatible set , which offers more realistic colors and better contrast.
- OLED TVs look much better than a typical LED LCD, but they are considerably more expensive.
- Ignore contrast-ratio specs: manufacturers fudge the numbers. Trust your own eyes.
- Look for at least four HDMI ports; 4K shoppers should ask about HDCP compatibility.
- Curved TVs are a fashion statement. They don't benefit image quality.
- Most TVs are "smart TVs" these days with easy access to Netflix and other online apps. Don't be tricked into thinking this is a big deal.
- Consider purchasing a soundbar. TV speakers are worse nowadays because the screens are thinner.
We want this to be as easy and stress-free as possible. That's why we're offering to install everything for you. The expertly trained professionals from Buy It Installed provide high-quality service and will get everything up and running with little to no hassle on your end.
