The KVX HDMI/DisplayPort Single Head Console Extender lets you control a server, or computer over single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic cable at distances of up to 30 km (depending on the SFP used, fiber type, and fiber bandwidth). You can use your existing keyboard, mouse, and monitor to access both the server room and your office computer, saving space and avoiding the need for a dedicated remote console. Ordered via website a 120GB Maxtor 5400 RPM hard drive. Got an email the following day from Steve, saying that item was end of lifed. My fault for not checking the "Status" which was "call". Steve worked with me, exchanging maybe 4 emails back and forth explaining alternatives to get my drive to me by Friday.
