The kit contains sleeves that protect photos, ID cards and receipts as well as cleaning sheets, cleaning solution and a calibration sheet. Heavy-duty Ambir® photo and receipt sleeves protect scanners from dirt, oil or particles to maintain scanner operating efficiency. The most durable on the market today, the Ambir sleeves are specially designed to stand up to the tight roller tolerances of scanner rollers in protecting photos and receipts. These sleeves are substantial enough to offer protection with the clarity needed to avoid distortion. Black streaks, hazy discoloration, and poor color quality all indicate that the scanner needs to be cleaned and calibrated. Scanners usually need cleaning and calibration every two to three months with average use. For high volume scanning or work in an industrial environment more frequent cleaning and calibration is recommended.
