Where privacy is paramount Ideal for schools and care homes, AXIS P1280-E can be used as a sensor to avoid compromising privacy. That's because thermal imaging detects incidents without revealing personal details of the people in the image. Together with analytics, the thermal camera can trigger alerts or alarms in response to patient or resident falls, allowing staff to take immediate action. It can also be used inside and outside buildings to identify unauthorized access before, during, or after certain hours. A choice of lenses for wide and narrow views AXIS P1280-E is available in two variants with a choice of lenses to meet your specific requirements. A 2.2 mm lens offers a 63 degrees field of view for a wider view that covers more of the scene, and a 4 mm lens with a viewing angle of 36 degrees for capturing narrower fields of view with longer detection distances. A video analytics powerhouse AXIS P1280-E comes with built-in analytics including AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard, AXIS Loitering Guard, as well as support for AXIS Perimeter Defender. It features a powerful processor and it's easy to add 3rd party analytics to your surveillance solution. I was wanting a new 17.3" screen with light up keyboard for my work. I bought an ACER which unfortunately in long run we found out the 4th generation processor couldn't handle the Windows Pro 10 version which is what I needed for my line of work. I had spent 10 hours with IT helpdesks at ACER, my company, and Windows to try to get my encrypted computer to accept the upgrade to PRO. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
