General Information:

The production-quality RoboSHOT 40 UHD PTZ camera provides brilliant 4K video footage for broadcasting or live streaming applications.

RoboSHOT 40 UHD offers 40x zoom, genlock capabilities, ultra-smooth motor movement, and outstanding image quality - all at a surprisingly competitive price for the entry-level broadcast PTZ camera market.

Designed with a genlock external sync port, the RoboSHOT 40 UHD camera provides accurate synchronization in multi-camera broadcast environments, plus phase compensation to fine-tune and adjust the genlock signal.

In addition to an incredible 30x zoom with 4K resolution at 30fps, it provides full high definition 40x zoom with 1080p/60fps performance with the latest advancements in digital super-resolution zoom.

With its 4K Exmor R CMOS image sensor, RoboSHOT 40 UHD offers more powerful image signal processing (ISP) - resulting in better light-gathering capabilities, incredible contrast, and sharp 4K video, even in dim lighting conditions. Expect exceptional performance in the presence of high-intensity spotlights seen in performance halls, live event venues, and night-time outdoor sporting events.

RoboSHOT 40 UHD offers silky-smooth, silent pan-tilt-zoom motion, thanks to Vaddio's next-generation silent motors paired with Tri-Synchronous motion algorithms. Even at full zoom, the RoboSHOT 40 UHD moves with no jitter or bouncing.

OneLINK Bridge connects a non-USB camera and audio source, and bridges to a USB stream for easy connection to USB-based conferencing applications such as Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, and Zoom.

Along with the bridging capabilities, the system's OneLINK Bridge Receiver for HDBaseT Cameras extends HD video, 100BaseT Ethernet, RS-232, and power up to 328 ft (100 m) on a single Cat-5e/6 cable.

The RoboSHOT 40 UHD broadcast-quality PTZ camera is ideal for these applications:

  • Broadcast TV, corporate broadcast, local TV stations, campus news
  • Churches, houses of worship
  • Live events
  • Sporting events such as high school football or soccer
  • Large auditoriums
  • Concert halls

Buying a digital camera can be overwhelming but important if you want your memories to last a lifetime! Here is a very quick guide to help with this decision.

    1. Determine what you need
What type of photography will you be doing? (portraits, landscapes, macro, sports)
    2. Megapixels are good and bad!
The more megapixels often equates to more noise in the picture. If you’re only printing images at a normal size then anything over 5 megapixels will be fine. If you start blowing your images up you might want to pay the extra money for the upper end of what’s on the market today.
    3. DSLR or Point and Shoot / Compact Camera?
While Digital SLRs are getting more affordable they are not for everyone. They do however produce extremely professional photos! While a Compact point and shoot is great for a trip, many are even waterproof.
    4. Optical Zoom is King
Not all ‘zooms’ are created equal. Digital zooms simply enlarge the pixels which makes it look more pixelated. If you’re looking for a zoom lens make sure it’s an optical zoom (most modern cameras have them of at least 3x in length – ie they’ll make your subject three times as big – with an increasing array of ‘super zooms’ coming onto the market at up to 12x Optical Zoom).

Thank you very much. I will leave you positive feedback on resellerratings and pricewatch if you are on there also. This was my first time building a pc so I was skeptical of most of the online companies but CompSource definitely impressed me, especially with your quick customer response time. Thanks! 4bidden
