QSW-M3224-24T is a cost-effective L3 Lite managed switch designed for enterprises. With twenty four 10GbE Multi-Gig ports for low-latency and high-density 10G network applications, QSW-M3224-24T accelerates high-speed storage, video editing, virtualization, AI and AVoIP applications. The QSW-M3224-24T is made in Taiwan (MIT), providing a high-quality and reliable networking solution.

24-port 10GbE network

Offers switching capacity of 480Gbps; compatible with 10GBASE-T and Multi-Gigabit NBASE-T™ technologies to connect 10G / 5G / 2.5G / 1G for high-speed network devices. LACP is supported to combine two ports for up to 20Gbps bandwidth.

L3 Lite

Provides IP settings (IPv4, IPv6, DNS), static routing, DHCP server, SNTP and advanced VLAN settings to deploy and manage high-performance and secure enterprise network infrastructure.

Continuous Enterprise networks

Adopts MC-LAG, (Multi-chassis link aggregation group) to offer High Availability and redundancy to guarantee uninterrupted network switching.

Secure network management

Supports ACL, Qfinder Pro login, and SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) management to ensure secure connections between the switch and network devices and enable central management and maintenance.

Easier AV-over-IP configuration

Supports IGMP Snooping management and IGMP Snooping traffic forwarding control for low-latency network connections with multiple AV devices.

User-friendly management interface

QSS Pro (QNAP Switch System Pro) is easy to use and provides an overview dashboard, port management and setting guide, making central network management intuitive.

Scale secure and highly-efficient enterprise network infrastructure with the QNAP L3 Lite switch

Medium to large-scale enterprises often have large and complicated network infrastructure. Upgrading to L3 Lite managed switches not only scales a secure high-speed network infrastructure, but also saves tremendous maintenance and management costs.

Scalability

When scaling your network, more network switches are required for more end devices. Deploying a L3 Lite switch helps realize granular control over large-scale segmented networks.

High-performance

High-performance network transmission is essential for critical business applications and services. A L3 Lite switch effectively satisfies the high-performance network demands in AI, multimedia, and virtualization applications.

Security

Having trouble with the complicated connections in the medium to large-scale networks? A L3 Lite switch provides an IP routing table to both boost connection security and simplify security management.

Enterprise IP routing, network high availability and high-performance demands

IP routing

Forwards packets through IP addresses to enable communication between devices in different network segments, or efficiently connect between different segments and subnets to achieve more complicated network segments based on functions.

MC-LAG network redundancy

Combines multiple connections between switches into a single, logical link. This logical link provides high availability and redundancy for client devices as it can continue to function even if one or more of the physical links fail.

LACP

Link Aggregation Control Protocol combines multiple network connections to increase throughput and protect against connection failure.

24x 10GbE ports for connecting more high-speed network devices

The switching capacity of the QSW-M3224-24T is 480Gbps, guaranteeing the full potential of each port. The QSW-M3224-24T can u

    Network Switch Buying Guide

Connect Multiple Devices to a Network and Route Data to Designated Devices

What is a network switch and what does it do?

    NSUG24C2 ethernet switch

Are there different types of network switches?

There are two main types of network switches, unmanaged and managed. The essential difference is the capability to configure the operation of a managed switch to customize and optimize network traffic for specific applications.

    Unmanaged Switches

    Managed Switches

Where do you place network switches?

Network switches are usually placed on a desk or table, mounted on a wall, or mounted in a rack. CompSource offers unmanaged desktop switches (with metal or plastic housing) and both unmanaged and managed rack-mount switches with metal housing and a built-in PDU (Gigabit Ethernet Switch PDU Combos).

What is a Gigabit Ethernet Switch PDU Combo?

CompSource offers an exclusive line of unmanaged and managed Gigabit Ethernet switches that have Power over Ethernet (PoE).

    Factors to Consider

Does your application require a managed switch?

If your application involves controlling network traffic, you will need the features of a managed switch. The following are some examples of tasks that require a managed switch:

    • Controlling access between departments within your LAN
    • Running many bandwidth-intensive applications simultaneously
    • Giving important data greater priority in your LAN
    • Improving the performance of a busy network
    • Implementing VoIP, wireless LANs or other advanced services

How many devices do you need to connect to your network?

Make sure you select a switch with enough Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbps) Ethernet ports for the devices you want to connect to your network. If you think you'll add more devices in the future, choose a switch that will give your network room to grow.

how many devices do you need to connect to your network

Do you need to connect multiple network switches?

If you plan to connect multiple network switches, look for models with SFP uplink ports (also known as Mini-GBIC ports). SFP uplink ports are connection points for SFP (small form-factor pluggable) modules that allow the switch to uplink to other switches using optical fiber cabling.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) uses existing network cables to power connected devices, such as VoIP phones, wireless access points and surveillance cameras. If you need this functionality, look for a switch with Gigabit Ethernet ports that support PoE. Make sure the power per port (in watts) and the total power budget of the PoE ports meet the needs of your electronic devices.
