Dell UltraSharp 25" WQHD IPS USB-C Monitor - 2560 x 1440; t 60Hz - Experience true color reproduction on this 25" QHD monitor a wide color coverage. In terms of screen size and fairly tight pixel density, some users really enjoy 25? monitors with a 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) resolution. The Dell U2520D is a followup to the popular U2518D, adopting this combination. Aesthetically the monitor is very similar to its predecessor, with a slender bezel at all sides (InfinityEdge) and a smart modern design. This is a dual-stage bezel with a slender panel border at the top and sides and a slim hard outer component. The bottom bezel has a similar design, but is slightly thicker. This slim-bezel design is something many users enjoy with a single monitor setup, but lends itself well to multi-monitor setups as well. The OSD (On Screen Display) is controlled by pressable buttons on the underside of the bottom bezel, towards the right side. The power button includes Dell?s signature white ?vertical slit power LED.A 25? 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) IPS-type (In-Plane Switching or similar) panel is employed with light or relatively light matte anti-glare finish and 60Hz refresh rate. A 1000:1 static contrast and 178 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles are specified. True 8-bit colour is supported and the monitor is factory calibrated with a claimed average DeltaE <2. A flicker-free WLED backlight is included with a 95 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut (or 99 percent sRGB via emulation setting in OSD) and 350 cd/m typical maximum luminance. This is boosted to at least 400 cd/m as part of the VESA DisplayHDR 400 operating mode. With this the monitor responds to HDR10 content and can put its colour gamut to good use whilst a 10-bit colour signal is used (2-bit dithering stage added by GPU). But it's the most basic level of HDR support certified for by VESA and does not necessitate effective local dimming or the sort of contrast boost which makes for a true HDR experience. Low Blue Light (LBL) settings including a '5000K' colour temperature are included to create a more relaxing viewing experience. A 5ms grey to grey response time is specified, but as usual approach with caution. The included stand offers full ergonomic flexibility and can be removed using the included quick-release mechanism, revealing 100 x 100mm VESA holes for alternative mounting. Most of the ports face downwards and include; AC power input (internal power converter), HDMI 2.0, DP 1.4, USB-C, DP output (for MST daisy chaining), 3.5mm audio output and 2 USB 3.0 ports. At the left side, as viewed from the front, there is a third USB 3.0 port (with BC 1.2 fast-charging) plus an additional USB-C port. The USB-C specification of the monitor includes 90W PD and DP 1.4 Alt Mode.
