Images are highly detailed with low noise and excellent balance between light and dark areas. Tethered camera unit The DrivePro Body 60 is composed of a control unit tethered to a compact camera unit that can be securely mounted on shoulder harnesses or helmets, making it a solid choice for filming in the dynamic environments public safety officers work in every day. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity Designed to work with Transcend's DrivePro Body App, the DrivePro Body 60 supports both Bluetooth for basic setup and switching modes, and Wi-Fi connectivity for live streaming of videos on iOS and Android mobile devices. Long battery life The DrivePro Body 60 comes with a high-capacity Li-Polymer battery, allowing up to 10 hours of recording on a single charge. This allows police and other professionals to record over a full shift. GPS receiver The DrivePro Body 60 has a built-in GPS receiver for geotagging videos and images. With the exclusive DrivePro Body Toolbox, users can view their route on a map display during video playback, making it easy to establish when and where an event occurred. Rugged and durable design The DrivePro Body 60 is built to withstand harsh environmental conditions, making it ideal for outdoor recording. It is IP67 rated, offering full protection against dust and water. It also meets rigorous US military drop-test standards for shock resistance. Capacious storage The DrivePro Body 60 has 64GB eMMC storage built in, enough to store up to 16 hours of Full HD 1080P video, and DDR3 cache memory, which can hold up to 2 minutes of video. Vibration alerts Reminds users of recording in progress every one minute. Buffering mode Captures crucial footage while saving on storage space. Loop recording Allows the body camera to overwrite old video files with new ones. Password Protects data from unauthorized access. GPS AssistNow Accelerates GPS positioning. Stealth mode Disables the light indicators, buzzer, and vibrator. Camcorders, sometimes called digital camcorders, are versatile motion capture cameras. Selecting the right one for your needs depends on several variables. If portability is a concern, you should look at mini camcorders, which can travel with you everywhere. The camcorder's home country is another consideration. If you intend to use it primarily in the United States, an NTSC compatible camcorder is the way to go.
1. Determine what you need
- What type of photography will you be doing? (portraits, landscapes, macro, sports)
- The more megapixels often equates to more noise in the picture. If you're only printing images at a normal size then anything over 5 megapixels will be fine. If you start blowing your images up you might want to pay the extra money for the upper end of what's on the market today.
- While Digital SLRs are getting more affordable they are not for everyone. They do however produce extremely professional photos! While a Compact point and shoot is great for a trip, many are even waterproof.
- Not all "zooms" are created equal. Digital zooms simply enlarge the pixels which makes it look more pixelated. If you're looking for a zoom lens make sure it's an optical zoom (most modern cameras have them of at least 3x in length ie they'll make your subject three times as big with an increasing array of "super zooms" coming onto the market at up to 12x Optical Zoom).
